Slingerland & Associates traces its lineage back to 1982 when Robert Fuenty and Kurt P. Klein opened the practice of Fuenty & Klein. When T. Jordan Gallagher joined the firm it was renamed Gallagher, Fuenty & Klein, later becoming Gallagher, Klein & Brady, and Gallagher & Brady.
In 1990 the firm relocated from its DeKalb, Illinois office to Sycamore, Illinois, in its current location across the street from the beautiful and historic DeKalb County Courthouse.
In 2004, William P. Brady left the firm and Jack C. Slingerland became a partner in Gallagher & Slingerland. On July 1, 2008, the law practice became Slingerland & Associates.
The firm maintains a complete law library, and state of the art computer-assisted legal research. The firm’s three attorneys, with a combined 65 years of legal experience, provide high quality, efficient legal services to clients of the firm, at reasonable fees, with the assistance of an office manager and a five person staff.
